Clara Eudora Glenn, age 100, died Friday, April 3, 2009. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a. m, on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Sugar Creek Baptist Church in Eastman with Apostle Bennie Fluellen officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery. Ms. Glenn was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church where she served as Sunday school teacher. choir president. church secretary. women's missionary group and church mother until her health failed. She also served the community at large as president of the Mighty Wonder Lodge #6. She worked for the Dodge County School System. Eastman Motel and for several families, providing housekeeping services. She was preceded in death by her parents. Alfred and Pearl Fluellen; her first husband, Willie B. Johnson; her second husband. Gold Glenn; her children. John Henry Johnson, Carrie B. Johnson, and Marvin O'Neal Johnson; siblings. Essie Dantley. Lewis Fluellen, Willie Alfred Fluellen, Frank Fluellen, Verdie Lee Coates, Ben Fluellen, Fred Fluellen. Detroy Fluellen and Thornia Fluellen; and two grandchildren, Edward King and Mary Ann Johnson. Survivors include 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 26 great-great grandchildren; 2 great-great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law; and three sisters-in-law.
