Obituary

Blondell Lucas Barden, age 76, died on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Inglewood African Methodist Episcopal Church with Rev. Burnest Glover officiating. Internment followed in Bishop Cemetery in Eastman. Mrs. Barden was a member of Inglewood African Methodist Episcopal Church. She attended Mt. Olive Elementary School and graduated from Palatka High School in Palatka, Florida. She was retired from Delta Airlines Dobbs House in Jacksonville. Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband. Russell Barden. Sr. Survivors include four sons; four grandchildren; one sister; four nephews: two great nephews; one great great niece; three brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law and a devoted friend. Serving as pallbearers were .... ? provided sacred music for the funeral service. Rollins Funeral Home. Inc. of Eastman was in charge of arrangements.
