Obituary
Charlie Clifford Burch, age 90, of Eastman died Sunday, January 25, 2009.
Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in the Chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home with his son-in-law, Dr. Richard Nettles officiating. Interment followed in Vilula Cemetery.
Mr. Burch was a member of Central Baptist Church, a farmer, service station manager. and security guard. He worked for more than seventy years and enjoyed family, friends, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents William Matthew and Melcener Howard Burch; wives, Ola McCranie Burch and Juanita Adams Burch: grandchildren, Delane Burnham Mullis and Joe Helms; great grandchildren, Christina Stark and Brooke Stark; siblings, Essie Mae Sheffield. Lela Burnham. Elvie Rogers, and William Edward Burch.
Survivors include daughters; two sons; three step-children; two sisters; one brother; 21 grandchildren. 21 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were ... ? were the musicians for the funeral service. Hardy-Towns Funeral Home of Eastman is in charge of arrangements.
