MRS. NETTIE RAY HUMPHREY, age 74, of St. George, Utah, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 12:00PM Saturday, August 30, at Woodlawn Cemetery. Nettie was born in Eastman, GA on September 3, 1950, to the late Katie and Hollis Hickman. She graduated from Dodge County High School in 1968 and in 1976, she married Elbert Cleon Humprey, and together they shared 49 years of marriage. She worked as a purchasing agent and office manager for more than 30 years. Nettie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and her husband served in a food storehouse to help those in need. She is survived by her Husband – Cleon Humphrey; Sons – Rusty Humphrey (Tina) of Cumming, GA, David Roland (Brittainee) of St. George, Utah, John Humphrey (JaNee) of Pocatello, Idaho, and Scott Humphrey (Amy) of St. George, Utah; 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren; Numerous extended family members and countless friends.
