MR. JEFFERY DWAYNE VAUGHN, age 53, of Macon, GA, died Saturday, December 11, 2021, at his residence. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Jeffery was born and raised in Macon, of the Baptist Faith, and attended Macon Technical College for small engine repair in the late 1980s. He worked at Wendy’s in Macon for several years before moving to Eastman in 1989. He worked as a carpenter and roofer with John Clem Roofing while he lived in Eastman. He later moved back to Macon in 1990, and roofed homes for many years with Hills Roofing. Jeffery enjoyed NASCAR racing, building things, and had recently finished his tree house. He was a loving brother, nephew, and cousins to his family. He was the son of the late Mary Louise Hawkins Vaughn and Johnny Wayne Vaughn.
