MS. DONNA BOUTWELL GAY, age 62, of Eastman, GA, died Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at her residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00PM Friday, April 28, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Evangelist Caroline Harris officiating. Donna was a lifelong resident of Eastman and a 1979 graduate of Dodge County High School. After high school, she worked for Hardy Stuckey Candy Company for nine years, before later working for Shorty Bearden at Shorty’s Quick Stop for fifteen years. She later worked for Gooseneck Farms and was a great asset to the company. After retiring, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, planting and tending to her garden, playing with her dog, and watching her favorite TV show Blue Bloods. Donna was the daughter of the late Clementine Alligood Devine and James Luther “Sonny” Boutwell and was preceded in death by her Step-Mother, Judy Grubbs Boutwell, Brother-in-law, Jackson Pittman, and Nephew, Matt Johnson. She is survived by her 2 Daughters; 7 Grandchildren; Step-Father; 3 Sisters; Step-Brother; Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins; Favorite Canine Companion - Chewy.
