Obituary
MR. EDDIE SPIRES, age 71, of Rhine, GA, died Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Atrium Navicent Health Center in Macon, GA.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Spires was born in Dublin, GA in 1951 and was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church. After high school, he worked as a carpenter, logger, and sawmill worker. He later went to work for Husqvarna and retired as a spot truck driver. Mr. Spires was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his grandchildren. Eddie was the son of the late Ruby P. Bowen Spires and Edd Spires and was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Frank Spires.
He is survived by his Son; 2 Grandchildren; 2 Brothers; Sister-in-law; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins also survive.
