MRS. LINDA SUE FOUNTAIN, age 72, of Alamo, GA, died Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Memorial Health Meadow Hospital in Vidalia, GA. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Linda was born on April 2, 1952, in Eastman, GA, to her biological mother Elizabeth Smith and was adopted by two wonderful parents, Mae Harrell Fountain and Homer Fountain. She was of the Holiness Faith. As a child, she moved to Jacksonville, FL, where she was a 1971 graduate of Inglewood High School. She returned to Eastman, GA and married in the mid-1970s and worked for many years at Oxford Shirt Factory in Alamo, GA. She enjoyed listening to music, tending her flowers, spending time with friends and family and she enjoyed every moment of her life. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her Husband, Quentin Poole, Siblings, Annabelle Horne, Shirley Horne Walker, and Walter ‘Junior’ Horne, Nieces, Faye Irene Reaser and Sue Ann Selph, and Nephew, Warren Horne. She is survived by her Companion; Several Nieces and Nephews; Several Cousins and many friends; and her faithful canine companion – Tiny.
