JACK DAVID “PNUT” JONES, age 59, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, July 14, 2019 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, July 25, in Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Mike Grenade officiating. David was born in Eastman, GA and was a member of Eastman First Baptist Church. He was a fuel truck driver and racing fuel salesman for Bearden Oil for 20 years and worked several years for Green Oil Company in Fairburn, GA and in his earlier years worked in his father’s family business as a salesman for Grizzly Manufacturing, Inc. for 20 years. He enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. David was son of the late Betty Deese Jones and Jack F. Jones. Survivors: 1 Son; 2 Grandchildren; 2 Sisters; 2 Brothers; 9 Nieces and Nephews; 10 Great Nieces and Great Nephews. The family may be contacted at the residence and will receive friends from 10:00AM- 11:00AM before services in Southerland Funeral Chapel on Thursday, July 25. In addition to flowers, the family requests contributions to an organization of the donor’s choice that specializes in helping children.
