MR. GARY DEAN BARRON, age 71, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, December 26, 2022, at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00AM Monday, January 2, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Randy Singletary officiating. Gary was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of Cottondale Baptist Church, and a 1969 graduate of Dodge County High School. He later attended Middle Georgia College and Middle Georgia Technical College. He was owner and operator of Barron TV Repair Service for many years. Gary enjoyed fast cars with plenty of horsepower. He played lead guitarist for the rock’n’roll band Prism on up into his 60s and was also a guitarist for the band Electric Church. He was the son of the late Sara Boutwell Barron and Shirley Barron and was preceded in death by his Brother, Randy Barron. He is survived by his Wife; Sister-in-law; 2 Brothers-in-lawo; Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. The family may be contacted at the residence.
