Obituary
Adolph Beck -EASTMAN -Mr. Adolph Beck, age 90, of Eastman, died Sunday, December 23, 2007. Funeral services are scheduled for 2P.M., Wednesday, December 26 from the graveside in Woodlawn Cemetery.
-Mr. Beck, a native of Laurens County, was a retired farmer and Eastman Merchant, a member of New Union Baptist Church, and widower of Helen Peacock Beck and Vancine Floyd Lee Beck. He was preceded in death by two sons, Mike A. Beck and Mitchell Beck.
-Survivors: granddaughters; grandson; former daughter-in-law; two sisters; several nieces and nephews.
-The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 12 Noon until service time on Wednesday. -In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to New Union Baptist Church or the donor's charity of choice. -Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman has charge of arrangements.
