MRS. RHONDA DELANE ADAMS USSERY, age 51, of Milan, GA, died Monday, April 3, 2023, at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, April 6, at Milan City Cemetery, with Mr. Norwood Davidson officiating, with interment in Milan City Cemetery. Rhonda was born in McRae, GA in 1971 and was of the Baptist Faith. She was raised in Milan and was a 1990 graduate of Telfair County High School. She later graduated from Heart of Georgia Technical College, where she received her certification as an EMT. She married the love of her life in 1992 and they later moved to Cobb, GA on Lake Blackshear, where she and her family resided until 1996. During their time in Sumter County, they welcomed the first of their two daughters in 1992. The family moved back home to Milan in 1996, where she worked at Dodge County Hospital as a secretary in X-Ray and director of the nursing departments. She later worked for Dr. Kulam Lee and Dr. Bryant Barrows as an office secretary. Her second daughter was born in 2002 and in the late 2000s, she worked for Three Rivers Home Healthcare for several years before becoming a healthcare provider. During this time, she started her business, Ussery Graphix, a custom vinyl sticker and sign shop. She more recently worked as an office manager for Zerner Stone Rescue Ranch in McRae and a pharmacy tech for Rhine Drugs. Rhonda loved her family and was dedicated wife, mother, and a beloved sister. She especially loved her grandchildren, and they were her world. She and her family were passionate about racing, and you could always find her supporting her family racing team, Ussery Racing. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and trips to the mountains and the beach. Rhonda was the daughter of the late Linda Sheffield Adams and Roston Mac “Big A” Adams and was preceded in death by her Father-in-law, Gerald Ussery. She is survived by her Husband of 31 years; 2 Daughters; Grandchildren; Brother; Nieces and Nephews; Mother-in-law; 2 Sisters-in-law; Aunts and Uncles; Numerous Cousins and Friends; Caretaker; Faithful Canine Companion – Her Black Lab “Whiskey”. The family may be contacted at the Ussery residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 5:00PM-7:00PM Wednesday, April 5.
