MRS. RUTH LEE KIESSLING CARTER, age 83, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at her residence in Bonaire. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, November 8, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Warner Robins, with Rev. Casey Matthews officiating. She will be interred in Gresston Baptist Church Cemetery. Ruth was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 3, 1942, to the late Lena Marie “Lee” Steyding Kiessling and Clarence J. Kiessling. She graduated High School in Cincinnati before attending the University of Cincinnati where she received her Batchelor’s Degree in Education graduating in 1964. After college she moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where she taught 4th grade in the Colorado Springs Elementary School System and married her husband Charles on June 24, 1972. They began their family and in 1975 were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Tiffany. She enjoyed riding horses and show jumping in her early years. Ruth also loved cooking for her family, and her hobby time was spent on many mediums of artwork. She was a dedicated wife of 52 years and a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who was affectionately known to her grandsons as “Nana” and “Nanny”. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Thomas Charles Carter. She is survived by her Daughter; 3 Grandsons; Brother; Several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends in First Baptist Church of Warner Robins, 1135 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA from 1:00PM until 2:00PM, one hour before the service on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
