Obituary

BRIANA SIERRA PERDUE, age 26, of Eastman, GA, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, in Eastman, GA. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, March 29, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Chad Hendley and Rev. Grover Flagg officiating, with a private family committal service to be held at a later date. Briana was born in Dublin, GA on June 3, 1998, and has lived in Eastman her entire life. She was of the Baptist Faith, a 2016 graduate of Dodge County High School, and earned her degree in Early Childhood Development from Oconee Fall Line Technical College in Dublin, GA. During her childhood and high school years she excelled in softball. She played for many years at the Dodge County Recreational Department and later in travel ball with the Middle Georgia Hurricanes. Her father was her coach, and she was instrumental in helping her team win many titles during her playing career. After high school, she worked several jobs over the years, including for United Stone in Eastman, GA, the Food Depot in Cochran, GA, and as a childcare worker for Orchard Rise in Cochran, GA, and Pride and Joy in Eastman, GA. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Brynlee, who she loved dearly, and was a beloved daughter, sister, and granddaughter. Briana was full of life, funny, and possessed a truly kind heart. She loved fishing, building fires, coloring and drawing, spending time with family and friends, hunting for arrowheads, and playing softball. She was preceded in death by her Uncles, Billy Daron Rogers and Billy Mark Rogers. She is survived by her Daughter; Mother and Father; Sister; Fiancé; Maternal Grandparents; Paternal Grandparents; Aunts and Uncles; Several great-aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins and friends.
