MRS. RITA YVONNE SAPP WOOD, age 69, of Eastman, GA, died Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Advance Healthcare and Rehab in Jeffersonville, GA. Memorial services will be held at 6:00PM Thursday, February 3, at the residence of Jessie Cruz. Rita was born in Eastman and lived in Florida and Ohio for several years. After marrying, she moved back to Eastman in the mid-1970s, where she raised her family. She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family, spending time with her grandchildren, and loving riding and visiting her friends, cooking, playing games on her tablet, and word search puzzles. Rita was awesome with kids and raised many outside her own family. Rita was the daughter of the late Carrie Yvonne Sapp and J.D. Sapp. She is survived by her Husband; Daughter; Son; 4 Grandchildren; Great-Grandchildren; Several Cousins and Friends. The family may be contacted at the residence.
