MRS. KAREN SUE NOBLE DICKERSON, age 71, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, August 5, 2019 at her residence. Memorial services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, August 8, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Myron Parkerson officiating. Karen was a native of Defiance, OH, of the Methodist Faith, and a homemaker. She was of Native American descent, a self-employed home cleaning specialist for several years, and helped prepare meals and deliver food to senior citizens. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, swimming in the family pool, spending time with her canine companion Charlie, cooking, knitting, crocheting, making blankets, trips to the beach and Jacksonville, FL, and had a great fondness and love for animals. Karen was daughter of the late Alita Williams Noble and Howard Wesley Noble and was preceded in death by a Step-Son, Christopher Mason Dickerson, Sister, Shirley Noble Burgess, and Brother, Richard Noble. Survivors: Husband of 27 years; 2 Sons; Step-Daughter; Daughter-in-Law; 7 Grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Sisters; Sister-in-Law; Brother-in-Law; Several Nieces and Nephews. The family may be contacted at the Dickerson residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-2:00PM Thursday, August 8. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to the American Cancer Society.
