Obituary
MR. LEROY COVINGTON, age 68, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, December 16, 2021, at his residence.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Leroy was born in McRae, GA, a member of Solid Rock Church of God, and a former worker for Shorty Bearden for several years. He served faithful in the U.S. Army for over five years, where he received the rank of specialist 4 (SP4). He was the son of the late Myrtle Beatrice Floyd Vanosdell and George Murry “Sam†Covington and was preceded in death by his Step-Father, Mack Ernest Vanosdell, and Sister, Doris Bedsole.
He is survived by his Son; Brother; Nephew; Several Cousins and Extended Family Members.
