MS. LUCY YOUNG, age 67, of Eastman, GA, died Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Southland Nursing Home in Dublin, GA. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Lucy was born in Mobile, Alabama in 1956, and lived there during her childhood years. She moved with her family to Fort Valley during her middle school years and was a graduate of Peach County High School. After graduating high school, she moved to the Atlanta area and worked as a CNA. She was a caring and dedicated worker who was especially loving and caring in her care of her elderly and senior patients. Lucy was patient and expressed her kindness with her actions. She volunteered regularly with food banks and helped with rescue efforts of cats and kittens. She will forever be remembered as a loving soul who spread kindness wherever she went. She was preceded in death by her twin Sister, Linda Oxley. She is survived by her Brother-in-law; Several Nieces and Nephews; Several Cousins and Friends. The family may be contacted at residence.
