MR. ROBERT OWEN "BOBBY" POWELL, age 71, of Eastman, GA, died Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Powell was born in Charleston, SC, of the Baptist faith, a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a tank operator, and was a retired construction worker. He lived in Eastman for the past 30 years, was a former employee of C & C Vinyl for over 5 years, and worked for Scott Holder for several years. He loved Georgia Bulldogs football, outdoor activities, and enjoyed spending time with his friends. Bobby was son of the late Elsie Lorraine August Powell and Owen Powell.
He is survived by his numerous friends including. The family may be contacted at the Coleman residence.
