On December 16, 2022, Terry Poole was called home by the Lord, after a brief illness. Born to Hansford and Ellen Parker Poole on October 8, 1956, he grew up in Telfair County. He moved to Laurens County where he resided for forty-five years. A welder by trade, Terry was employed by Kevin Baggett and Frankie Bullard for over thirty years. He worked hard to provide for his family. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with grandchildren, grilling, listening to classic rock music, and watching TV. Terry could be found watching football on the weekend, support his favorite team, the Georgia Bulldogs. He leaves behind a huge, loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hansford and Ellen (Parker) Poole, his daughter, Carol Denise Poole, his sisters, Violet Shurling, Shirley Granger and Linda Purvis, and brother, Tommy Poole. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of thirty-five years; daughters; Sons; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister; brothers-in-law; and sister-in-law. Services will be held for Mr. Poole Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 2pm at the Chapel at Townsend Funeral Home.
