Obituary
MR. JOSEPH HARLOW “J.H.†DUNN, age 83, of Adrian, GA, born and raised in Chauncey, GA, died peacefully Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, June 5, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Mike Grenade officiating, with interment in Ryals Cemetery.
Mr. Dunn was a native of Chauncey, GA, a member of Rock Branch Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a retired civil service employee for Robins AFB. He was a loving father and grandfather, who enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, country cooking, spending time outdoors, and playing cards with friends. He was son of the late Mary Purvis Dunn and Ernest Dunn and was preceded in death by a Sister, Lavon Dunn Gay and 3 Brothers, Dean Dunn, Gary Dunn, and Frank “Barney†Dunn.
Survivors include: 2 Daughters; 3 Grandchildren; Sister; 2 Sisters-in-Law; Several Nieces and Nephews.
The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-2:00PM Wednesday, June 5.
