Marian Stanley Clements Riggs passed away peacefully in her home on the 24th of July 2021. Marian was born on March 6, 1941 in Dodge County Georgia. She is preceded in death by her sister, mother and father, as well as her first husband Franklin Clements and second husband Daniel Riggs. Marian is survived by her two sons. She is also survived by three step children. She has 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Marian enjoyed spending the past three years with her fiancé. Although her health was failing, Marian had a full life with family and friends. She was the first homecoming queen at Dodge County High School and had a beautiful smile and kind eyes. She started a karate school in Dublin, Georgia, was a black belt and had her own dojo. Marian was a devoted teacher for many years and enjoyed her later years traveling with her late husband. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Alpharetta and enjoyed participating in their choir. A Visitation will be held at Northside Chapel on Tuesday July 27th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and on Wednesday from 10AM to 11AM at First Baptist Church of Alpharetta. A Celebration of life ceremony will be held at First Baptist of Alpharetta on Wednesday July 28th at 11:00 followed by a reception. A Graveside ceremony will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1St Avenue, Eastman, GA. 31023 on Thursday, July 29th at 12:00 PM.
