MRS. ADEL JACKSON LEE STANLEY, age 87, of Eastman, GA, died Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, November 4, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Jack Lee and Rev. Clay Layfield officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Adel was born in Eastman, GA and attended Eastman First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Sally Bacon Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker for many years and a paraprofessional for twenty-nine years for the Dodge County Board of Education. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who enjoyed going to church and attending “Get Away” on Wednesdays at Eastman First Baptist Church. Adel enjoyed cooking, working in her yard, and all the times she was able to spend with her family, especially her children and grandchildren who affectionately called her “Addie”. She was the daughter of the late Florence Dennis Jackson and Felton Jackson and was preceded in death by her Husbands, Robert N. “Pete” Stanley and Robert Edward Lee, Brothers, Kenneth “Preacher” Jackson and Rawleigh Jackson, and Brothers-in-law, Sam Tomlin and Jimmy Boyette. She is survived by her Daughters; Son; Grandchildren; Grandson-in-law; Great-Grandchildren; Sisters; Sister-in-law; Several Nieces and Nephews. The family may be contacted at the residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-3:00PM Saturday, November 4.
