MRS. PATRICIA DIANE GIDDENS WHITE, age 68, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, May 7, 2023, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Tuesday, May 9, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Ron Jones and Rev. Chad Hendley officiating, with interment in White Family Cemetery in Gresston. Diane was born in Florida and later moved with her family to Eastman where she graduated from Dodge County High School and was a member of First Christian Church for over 40 years. She was a former seamstress for C & J Manufacturing and later Dowling Industries for over fifteen years and later worked at Standard Candy Company before working as a cashier for Southside Flea Market. She was a dedicated mama who loved raising her family. She also enjoyed watching her soap operas, playing cards, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Diane was the daughter of the late Myrtice Fountain Giddens and Monroe Giddens and was preceded in death by her Husband, Bobby F. White, Sister, Brenda Sue Davis, and Brothers, Larry Giddens and Kenneth Giddens. She is survived by her Daughter; Son; Step-Daughter; Grandchildren; Sisters-in-law; Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins; Close Friends. The family may be contacted at the White residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 2:00PM-3:00PM Tuesday, May 9.
