MR. HENRY WYMON BARNETT, age 78, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, June 23, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, June 30, in Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Danny Barton officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mr. Barnett was a lifelong resident of Eastman, of the Baptist Faith, and a retired employee of Armstrong World Industries in Macon with over 34 years of service. He was a dedicated husband of over 57 years, and a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who enjoyed being around and spending time with his family. He enjoyed buying and selling at yard sales and flea markets and loved joking and cutting up with friends and family. He was affectionately known as Papa to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wymon was the son of the late Kate Lamb Barnett and Sam Barnett and was preceded in death by his Wife of 57 years, Faye Barton Barnett, Daughter, Debbie Barnett Johnson and 3 Brothers, Johnny Barnett, Harlow Barnett, and Robert Barnett. He is survived by his Daughter; 3 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
