MR. BILLY RAY BOND, age 80, of Eastman, GA, died Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, April 27, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Rev. Daniel Cook officiating. Mr. Bond was born in Eastman, of the Baptist Faith, a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the Army National Guard, and a retired painter for over 37 years for Armstrong World Industries, Inc. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and brother, who enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was son of the late Hattie Belle Cannon Bond and Elmer Edwin Bond and was preceded in death by a Daughter, Amy Diane Bond. He is survived by his Wife of 56 years; 2 Sons; 4 Grandchildren; Great-Granddaughter; Brother; 3 Sisters-in-Law; Brother-in-Law; Numerous Nieces and Nephews; Several Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.
