MRS. MILDRED ELOIS “LOIS” TAYLOR WAHL, age 83, of Chauncey, GA, died Sunday, April 12, 2020 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, April 14, at Sweet Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Milan, with Pastor Dahl McDermitt, Jr. officiating. Mrs. Wahl was born in Milan and was a member of Sweet Home Bapitst Church. She grew up in Milan and excelled in basketball during her formative years and was a 1955 graduate of Milan High School. She enjoyed a career as a social worker for over 30 years for the Department of Family and Children’s Services. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed fishing and cooking for her family, especially known for her chocolate rolls. She was a very giving person who served others before serving herself. Lois is the daughter of the late Clyde Lawton Taylor and Melcina Durden Taylor and is preceded in death by two brothers, James Ernest Taylor and Raymond Eugene Taylor. She is survived by her Husband of 57 years; 1 Daughter; 2 Sons; 1 Sister; 8 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law; Several Nieces and Nephews. Serving as pallbearers are Briley Wahl, Gabe Wahl, Connor Dennis, Noah Wahl, and Colby Bryant.
