DANIEL GENE SHADIX, age 37, of Eastman, GA, died Friday, July 28, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, August 1, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Al Daniell officiating, with interment in Orphans Cemetery. Daniel was born and raised in Dodge County, a member of Eastman First Christian Church, and attended Dodge County High School. He was employed at Johnson Recycling and enjoyed working on cars. He was a “big kid” at heart, was often silly, and loved a good laugh. Daniel never met a stranger and had the biggest smile. He loved deeply and cherished his family. He is survived by his Son; Daughter; Father and Mother; Brother; Several Aunts, Uncles, and Numerous Cousins and Friends. The family may be contacted at the Shadix residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 10:00AM-11:00AM Tuesday, August 1.
