Obituary
Charles Marlin Berry, 88, entered into rest on Sunday, November 5, 2023.
Charles was born on August 21, 1935, in Milan, Georgia to the late William Dewey Berry and Mabell Powell Berry. He honorably served his country a cumulative of 27 years between the Army, National Guard, and Air Force Reserves. Charles also accumulated 58 years as a Master Mason, where he held several leadership positions with both the Milan Lodge and the Daylight Lodge of Bonaire. He also had a distinguished Civil Service career of 34 years, later retiring after 10 years working for Houston County. In his free time, Charles was active in carpentry and outdoor activities up until his passing.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his daughter, Janet Walker, grandsons, Welman Charles Walker and Rhett Walker as well as all of his siblings.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife; daughters; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Magnolia Park Mausoleum. A graveside service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. at Magnolia Park Cemetery, where Charles will be laid to rest.
