Mary Carolyn "Cookie" Peede, 77, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012, and was a longtime resident of Lumber City, Georgia. A native of Montezuma, she was married to her husband, Flurry Wicker Peede, for 41 years. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents, and was survived by her mother, Louise B. Hardin, along with several sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.Her funeral services were held on March 24, 2012, at the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home in McRae, Georgia, with burial following in Sand Grove Cemetery in Milan, Georgia
