Cochran, Georgia- Graveside services for Latha C. Sawyer, 86, of Cochran, who died Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Bryant Nursing Home in Cochran, will be held Tuesday November 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., in Roddy Community Cemetery Cochran, Georgia, with Reverend Ken Brooks and Pastors Ritchie Johnson and Stephen White officiating. Mrs. Sawyer was born in Laurens Co., the daughter of the late William Y. and Martha Pearl Yawn Chance and the wife of Beaufort "Bob" Sawyer of Cochran for 71 years. She and Mr. Bob had made Cochran their home since 1959. She was a member of Cochran First Baptist Church and a former member of Roddy Baptist Church. Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Survivors include: children. She also has six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family will be at the Sawyer residence and will meet friends following the service Tuesday. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.Fishersfuneralhome.net
