Obituary
Chester – Donna Gilbert, age 54, died Wednesday, May 1, 2019, in Coliseum Medical Center in Macon. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rowland Memorial Cemetery.
Donna, born in Dublin, had lived most of her life in Chester. She was the daughter of the late Bob Gilder and Patricia Fountain and was preceded in death by her brother, Tracy Gilder. She was retired from Lithonia Lighting. Donna loved her family and especially her grandchildren, Madison and Greyson.
Survivors are her husband; daughter; grandchildren; sisters; brother; step-sister; step-brothers; brother-in-law and sister-in-law; several nieces and nephews.
The family is at and will greet friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday at Mathis Funeral Home.
