MRS. MARITA EYVONNE HENDRIX VARGAS, age 51, of Arlington, GA, formerly of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, February 6, 2022, at her residence. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Eyvonne was born and raised in Eastman, attended Dodge County High School, and was a former secretary for the Waycross Police Department for several years. She also worked as a freelance Spanish translator for several doctors’ offices for many years and as a caretaker for her grandson who suffered from autism. Eyvonne enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family and friends. She was the daughter of the late Martha Sue Ussery Hendrix and Julius Hendrix, Sr. and was preceded in death by her Sister, Melinda Hendrix Warren, and Brother, Julius Hendrix, Jr. She is survived by her 3 Children – Beth Brown (Eric) of Eastman, Rev. Mike Warren (Kayla) of Griffin, and James Warren (Benita Spires) of Dexter; 5 Grandchildren – Jaycee Warren, Matt Vargas, Sid Brown, Rachel Brown, and Hazel Brown; Nieces and Nephews – Brittany Hendrix (Terrance), Christina Welch (George), Katie Bridges (Matt), Casey Hendrix (Michelle), and Marcus Warren (Tiffany Rath); Numerous Cousins and Friends.
