MRS. DOROTHY HARDIN PARKERSON, age 85, of Loganville, GA, died Monday, July 3, 2023, at Winder Health and Rehab in Winder, GA. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00AM Friday, July 7, at Plainfield Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Tim Tanner officiating. Dorothy was born and raised in Eastman, GA. She was a member of Eastman First Baptist Church, a graduate of Eastman High School, and married after graduating high school in 1956 shortly after her husband returned from Germany after serving in the U.S. Air Force. She was a dedicated wife of 67 years and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and especially taking care of her family. Dorothy was a dedicated sports mom for many years and supported her sons during those years. She was the daughter of the late Vivian Peacock Hardin and Fred Hardin and was preceded in death by her Brothers, Gene Hardin and Raymond Charles “Pete” Hardin. She is survived by her Husband of 67 years; 4 Sons; 9 Grandchildren; Several Great-Grandchildren; 2 Sisters-in-law; Several Nieces and Nephews.
