JESSICA LEIGH ROOKS, age 37, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon. Memorial services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, April 4 at Southerland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Myron Parkerson and Mr. Randy Horne officiating. Jessica was born in Eastman, a member of Grace Baptist Church, a 2000 graduate of Dodge County High School, and attended Middle Georgia College, Heart of Georgia Technical College, and Oconee Fall Line Technical College. She was homemaker and a loving mother, daughter, and sister, who loved writing poetry, drawing and reading. She was preceded in death by her Father, Robbie Rooks, Paternal Grandparents, Voncile and James Robert Rooks, and Maternal Grandfather, Sammie Rogers. Survivors: Daughter; Son; Mother; Sister; 3 Nephews; Grandmother; Aunts and Uncles; Boyfriend; Several Cousins, and Numerous Friends. The family maybe contacted at the residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:30PM – 2:00PM before the service.
