MR. COREY EUDELLE FARRIS MINCEY, age 38, of Eastman, GA, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. Funeral services will be held at 4:00PM Tuesday, September 28, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Dwayne Burney and Pastor Tyler Kirkley officiating, with interment in Parkerson Baptist Church Cemetery. Corey was born in Dublin, GA, of the Baptist Faith, a 2003 graduate of Dodge County High School, and a graduate of Heart of Georgia Technical College, with a certificate in aircraft structural technology. He worked for over 10 years at Robins AFB, as an aircraft structure mechanic and painter, was formerly employed at Pruett Heating and Air and TMC Trucking, and was a truck driver for his trucking company, Corey Mincey Trucking, for over 5 years. He was a loving father to his children, was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman, who enjoyed trips to the river and duck hunting. He also enjoyed spending time with dogs, Ace and Greta. Corey was preceded in death by his Brother, Rusty Mincey. He is survived by his 4 Children; Mother; Father; Brother; Grandmother; Nieces and Nephews; Aunts and Uncles; Several Great-Aunts and Great-Uncles; Numerous Cousins and Friends. The family may be contacted at the residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 2:30PM-4:00PM Tuesday, September 28.
