MR. CLIFTON CLARK, age 85, of Eastman, GA, died Friday, March 1, 2019 at McRae Manor Nursing Home in McRae. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, March 3, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Mike Grenade officiating, with interment in New Bethel Cemetery in Helena. Mr. Clark was born in Dodge County, of the Baptist Faith, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a retired textile worker for J.P. Stevens & Company, Inc. in Dublin for over 35 years. He loved fishing, word search puzzles, and watching NASCAR racing, westerns, and the Andy Griffith Show. He was son of the late Lizzie White Clark and John A. Clark and was preceded in death by an Infant Daughter, Ashley Clark, Son, Jeff Clark, Grandson, Benji Clark, and Brother, Hilton Clark. Survivors: 4 Daughters; Son; 16 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great-Grandson; 3 Sisters; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-2:00PM Sunday, March 3.
