Funeral services for Jack Mullis 83, of Hawkinsville, formerly of Cochran, died Wednesday September 27, 2017, in the Taylor Regional Hospital. Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 30, 2017, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home. Rev. Aaron Burgess will be officiating. Burial will be private in Mullis Cemetery in Dodge Co. Mr. Mullis was born in Bleckley County, the son of the late James Ivy Mullis and Mattie Mae Fellows Mullis. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and was a resident of Pinewood Nursing Home in Hawkinsville. He was preceded in death by sisters: Doris Mullis, Cloe Rocket, Geraldine Self, and brothers: Horace Mullis, Charles Mullis, Morris Mullis, John Mullis, and Henry Mullis.
