Mrs. Maudie Lou Holder Lancaster, 93, of Hawkinsville, Ga. passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville, Ga.Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Mark White officiating and Mrs. Carolyn Lancaster Ragan giving the eulogy. Visitation will be at the church from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. before the service begins.Burial will follow in the Lancaster cemetery. Mrs. Lancaster was a native of Dodge County, Ga. and a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.She was a retired LPN and private sitter having worked at Taylor Memorial and Taylor Regional Hospital.She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Lancaster; grandson, Jody Lancaster; great-grandson, Anthony Dennis; parents, John Holder and Claudie Maddox Holder; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include a son; daughters; 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
