Obituary
Hawkinsville – Johnny Bennett, age 57, died Thursday, November 22, 2018, at his residence, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 25, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dubois Baptist Church Cemetery.
Johnny, born in Eastman, had lived most of his life in the Middle Georgia area. He was the son of the late Vera Mullis Bennett Fennell Riner and Franklin D. Bennett and was preceded in death by his brother James Bennett. Johnny was a mechanic and a loving husband and dad. He was a member of Dubois Baptist Church and attended Trinity Baptist Church in Hawkinsville.
Survivors are his wife; children; grandchildren; great grandchild; brothers; sisters; several nieces and nephews.
The family is at and will greet friends from 1:00 P.M. until time for the service Sunday at Mathis Funeral Home.
