MS. DONNIE JONES, age 60, of Rhine, GA, died Saturday, February 19, 2022, at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, February 22, at Fair Haven Cemetery, with Mr. Gary Ryals and Rev. Ben Waller officiating. Donnie was born in McRae, GA, but raised in Rhine. She was a graduate of Dodge County High School and a lifelong member of Fair Haven Baptist Church. She was employed for 21 years as a pharmacy technician at Eldercare in Hawkinsville and also worked for Goody’s Manufacturing for several years. She additionally served as a sitter for the elderly. She loved rabbits and rabbit collectibles, wildlife, and deer watching. She also enjoyed arranging flowers and was an amateur florist, fixing flowers for church, community, and family. Donnie was a loving sister and aunt who enjoyed family events and functions. She was the daughter of the late Donnie Belle Roberson Jones and LeRoy Jones and was preceded in death by her Sister, Beverly Hulett, Brother-in-law, Allen Hulett, Nephew, Colby Allen Hulett, and her Great-Nephew, Mason Allen Jones. She is survived by her Sisters; Brother; Special Friends; Aunts; Uncle; Several Nieces and Nephews. The family may be contacted at the residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00-8:00PM Monday, February 21. In addition to flowers, contributions may be made to Fair Haven Baptist Church or Old Daniel Baptist Church.
