Mrs. Valane Fordham Woodard, 82, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Pinewood Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with visitation to be from 2 to 2:50 p.m. before the service begins. Rev. Jeff Waters and Rev. Erik Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Giddens-Harrell Cemetery in Eastman, Georgia. Mrs. Woodard was a native of Dodge County, Ga. and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church. She had worked at Opelika Mfg. Co. and the Pulaski Elementary School. She was a homemaker and loved to sew. Valane loved listening to music, especially Gene Watson. She was a very devoted Christian woman who loved her Lord, her family, (especially grandchildren) and everyone she met. Survivors include her sons; daughters; brother; sisters; brother in law; nephew; sister in law; grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
