Obituary
Chester – Alton W. Bryan, age 65, died Saturday, April 14, 2018, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Olive Cemetery.
Alton, a lifelong resident of Chester, was the son of the late Lonnie A. and Mammie Lee Brady Bryan and was preceded in death by his granddaughter Taylor McCranie and his brother Clinton Bryan. He was retired from J.M. Huber and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife; his children; eight grandchildren; his brother; his sisters; several nieces and nephews.
The family is at and will greet friends from 1:00 P.M. until time for the service Tuesday at Mathis Funeral Home.
