MRS. BETTY JOYCE BARLOW OXLEY, age 88, of Gresston, GA, died Sunday, June 28, 2020 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, July 1, at Bowers Cemetery, with Rev. Ricky Anderson and Rev. Eddie Hess officiating. Mrs. Oxley was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of Dubois Baptist Church in Gresston, and a homemaker. She was a dedicated wife and a loving mother who was an excellent housekeeper and enjoyed cooking, taking care of her family, tending her flowers, word search puzzles, and taking care of her animals. She was the daughter of the late Fannie Giddens Barlow and Daniel W. Barlow, widow of R.C. Oxley and was preceded in death by an Infant Daughter, Barbara Ann Oxley and 7 Siblings, Carlton Barlow, Billy Barlow, Buddy Barlow, Charles Barlow, Myrtle Cook, Ann Byrom, and Jan McCarthy. She is survived by her Daughter; 3 Sons; 5 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren; 4 Sisters-in-law; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. The family may be contacted at the residence.
