MR. WILLIE L. “PETE” DYKES, age 86, of Danville, GA, died Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Funeral services are incomplete at this time and will be announced later today. Pete was born in Dodge County and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was a United States Navy Veteran and a retired Robins Air Force Base Civil Service employee. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Pete was son of the late Ora Bell Ragan Dykes and Calvin Dykes. Survivors: Wife – Willene Cravey Dykes of Danville; 1 Daughter – Ada W Dykes Messer (Eric) of Mt. Vernon; 1 Son – Lee Dykes (Patty) of Cumming; 4 Grandchildren – Brandie, Joseph, Dalton and Dylan; 5 Great-Grandchildren – Dessani, Jasmine, Jayden, Makenzie and Evelyn; 2 Sisters – Abberlene Arnold and Betty Floyd; 1 Brother – James Dykes; Several Nieces and Nephews.
