Obituary
Cochran- Joseph Seth Payne, age 16, died Thursday, October 15, 2020, from injuries received in an auto accident. Private funeral services will be held Sunday, October 18, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. in Roddy Baptist Church. Burial will be at Bowers Cemetery following the funeral service and is open to the public.
Seth, born in Hawkinsville, had lived most of his life in Cochran. He was the grandson of the late Robyn Gore Mullis. Seth was a junior at Bleckley County High School and loved fishing. He was baptized at Antioch Baptist Church in Dodge County.
Survivors are his parents; his sister; his grandparents; his great aunt and uncle; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family is at and will greet friends Saturday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home.
