Obituary
MRS. MARY M. DUKES SMITH, age 84, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, March 30, 2020 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin.
A private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, with Sister Margaret Arthur officiating.
Mary was a lifelong resident of Eastman, a graduate of Chester High School, attended Gresston Congregational Holiness Church, a former lunch lady for the Dodge County School system for many years, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, quilting, tending to her home, cooking, and making pies. She was daughter of the late Jimmie Clyde Butler Dukes and H.D. “Bud†Dukes, widow of Wilburn Franklin Smith, and was preceded in death by a Sister, Polly Brown and Brother, Rufus “Buddy†Dukes.
Survivors: Brother; 3 Sisters; Several Nieces and Nephews.
