Obituary
Cochran – Wendell T. Pittman, age 75, died Saturday, April 22, 2017, in the Coliseum Medical Center in Macon. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 24, 2017, at 3:00 P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Pittman, born in Dodge County, had lived in Cochran since 1971. He was the son of the late Thomas and Lois West Pittman, was preceded in death by his daughter, Ruth Ann Pittman and his sister, Hilda Pittman. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base, a former Bleckley County Sheriff Deputy and US Navy Veteran. He was a member of Dubois Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife; his children; grandchildren; great grandchildren; brother; sisters; several nieces and nephews and very special friend.
The family is at and will greet friends from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. Sunday at Mathis Funeral Home.
