Marion Carroll Mauro, age 76, of Lizella, died Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Heartland Hospice Facility. Funeral services will be held at 11 :00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4. 2009 at Midway Baptist Church with burial at 2:00 p.m. in Bowers Cemetery, in Empire. The Rev. Mike Fuller will officiate. Mrs. Mauro, was born in Dodge County and graduated from Nichols High School in Douglas. She worked in sales for Sears. Mrs. Mauro was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Pauline Holland Carroll; her son, Ronnie Powell; grandson, Erik Coiteux; sister. Shirley Wilkes and, two brothers, Bobby Carroll and Jack Carroll. Survivors include her husband; daughter; step-daughter; four grandchildren; great-granddaughter; two great-great grandchildren; sister and brother. Snow's Memorial Chapel Funeral and Cremation Services has charge of arrangements.
