MR. RANDY JULIUS NASKA, age 65, of Laurens County, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the Dodge County Hospital. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00AM Friday, October 1, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Charlie Cooper officiating, with a committal service to be held at 3:00PM Friday October 1, at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah with Rev. Jeff Hubbard officiating. Randy was born and raised in Savannah Georgia, a 1974 graduate of Herschel V. Jenkins High School, and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Savannah for many years. In 1987, he became a Police Officer with the Savannah Police Department where he remained until 2000. He then moved to Laurens County where he worked for various agencies, to include, The Bleckley County Sheriff's Office, Middle Georgia College Police Department and The Dodge County Sheriff's Office, giving him a total of 34 years in Law Enforcement. He was also an avid photographer and his photographs won several awards over the years. Randy was the son of the late Kathleen Graham Naska-Parkerson and Robert John Naska. He is survived by his daughter; 2 granddaughters; sister; 2 nephews; several cousins and numerous friends. The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 9:30AM-10:00AM Friday October 1.
